The Door

A Calm Door, Even on the Busiest Night

Scanning that works with no network, results you can read from across the gate, a box office in three taps, ushers who know every guest, kiosks that print badges, and a command view that keeps everyone safe.

Offline Scanning

Scan Without a Signal

Door staff scan with the Studio app. Each phone checks the signed code itself, the result fills the screen in a colour and one word, and a sound and a vibration confirm it. Scans sync when the network returns; the first scan wins.

  • Admit, Already In, Wrong Gate or Not Valid
  • A live count for every gate
  • Works in a stadium tunnel or a village durbar ground
Every Result at a Glance

One Colour, One Word

Door screens are built to be read in a second, in sunlight, by someone checking a thousand tickets. Each result has its own colour, its own sound and its own vibration, so staff never need to read the small print.

  • Admit in green, Already In in amber
  • Wrong Gate in blue, with the right gate named
  • Not Valid in red, with the reason
Box Office

Sell at the Gate in Three Taps

A tablet or phone becomes a box office: choose the tickets, take MoMo, card or cash, and the ticket prints or goes to the buyer's phone. It sells from the same inventory as the web, so nothing is sold twice.

  • MoMo, card and cash, reconciled by staff member
  • Tickets printed or sent by SMS
  • Cash counts at the end of each shift
Ushers and Walk-Ins

Every Guest Welcomed by Name

For weddings and funerals, ushers scan invitations, see the household and its table, and approve walk-ins the family allows. Guests can open their own seat on their phone.

  • The guest list on every usher's phone, offline
  • Walk-ins approved by the family's helpers
  • Seat finding: the guest's phone shows their table
Kiosk Check-In and Badges

Self Check-In That Prints the Badge

Agoo Kiosk turns a tablet into a self check-in point: scan a ticket or type a code, and the badge prints with the delegate's name and role. Face check-in is there for those who choose it.

  • Badges for Zebra, Brother or pre-printed sheets
  • Optional face check-in, opt-in only
  • Line-busting with handheld check-in
Wristbands, Passes and Sessions

Multi-Day Passes, Zones and Re-Entry

Festivals and conferences run for days. Passes cover days and sessions, RFID and NFC wristbands open the right zones, and re-entry rules are set by the organiser.

  • Day, session and season passes
  • RFID and NFC wristbands per zone
  • Re-entry allowed, limited or off
Command Mode

The Whole Event on One Screen

Event leads see every gate's queue, open incidents and who is handling them. In an emergency, one held button sends a message to every ticket holder by push, SMS and the venue screens.

  • Incidents assigned, tracked and closed
  • Queue times per gate
  • An emergency broadcast, held to send
Crowd Safety

Know How Full Every Zone Is

Each zone has a capacity. Scans in and out keep its count live, gates pause before it's too full, and stewards are told where to send people. The numbers stay in the record after the event.

  • A live count per zone from the door scans
  • Alerts at 90%, before it's a problem
  • A safety report for the venue and the authorities
A packed festival crowd with arms raised towards a brightly lit stage
Lead Capture

Exhibitors Scan, Rate and Follow Up

At conferences and trade shows, exhibitors scan delegates' badges with consent, rate each lead, add a note and send it to their sales tools after the event.

  • Licences per booth or device
  • Consent asked on every scan
  • Exports ready for your sales team
Questions

The Door, Answered

What happens when the network goes down at the gate?

Nothing changes for the queue. Each scanning phone carries the guest list and checks every code itself. When phones reconnect, their scans merge and the first scan of any ticket wins.

Which devices can scan?

Any recent iPhone or Android phone with the Agoo Events Studio app, a tablet at the box office, and Agoo Kiosk for self check-in. We can lend devices with Managed by Us.

Can we print badges on the day?

Yes. Badges print on Zebra label printers, Brother printers or pre-printed sheets, from the kiosk or the box office, with each delegate's name, role and code.

How does crowd safety work?

Each zone has a capacity. Every scan in and out moves its live count, and as a zone nears full its gates pause and stewards are told where to send people.
